This little coffee shop hasn't been around all that long, but it's become rather popular with the younger set due to the free WiFi and the relaxed vibe.

The shop is part clothing store, part salon. It stocks a large range of clothes, and if you can't find something, you can order from one of the 30 catalogs they have, and have it waiting for you at the shop. This is also the only place in town where you can get your hair or nails done, barring doing at home.

A clean, inexpensive place, Duke's is the perfect place to bring you family. Couples also frequent the restaurant.

Duke's very own theater. It used to be Royal 2, but then they added a Imax screen. This is a popular place for younger teens to hang out, as there's an arcade, albeit circa 1985.

This is the major tack store in the town, which recently had to expand to accommodate the rising demand for English Tack.

Built on the site of a caved in mine, an salad here will cost you 50 bucks.

A new addition to the town, and the only night club for 40 miles. It's a two story glass, steel and dark wood piece of work with the first floor dedicated to a teen lounge and the second floor being the bar.

Behind the main office are three rows of expensive, shiny new classrooms, generously donated by the Campbell's, that houses all grades Kindergarten though twelfth grade. Told ja' it was a small town.

To the left of the classrooms is an expensive, shiny new cafeteria and auditorium, also donated by the Campbell's.

Behind the classrooms is, to the left, the basket ball courts, for the older kids, and to the right, the playground, for the younger kids.

A perfect place to hang out and do things you shouldn't, as long as you don't mind the spiders.

Once a stretch of neat, small houses lining the banks of Forge River, this has now become a spectacle, with manor houses and pleasure gardens squeezing in-between the small, two bedroom cottages and vegetable patches of yesteryear.

East Hill is an eclectic mix of middle class and working poor, only a short drive from town and from the school. This is the chummiest of neighborhoods, with some sort of everyone's invited party going almost every week.

The main office was actually a shed that's been reroofed and wired with electricity and internet. The owners also saw fit to add several windows.

A large, weathered building, with a loft, that emits an aura of peaceful silence. Most horses here are owned by the owners of Southaven, or else not actually horses. Southaven is home to a herd of goats. The loft has a few couches and is used as a lounge room. It also has a stack of home-grown alfalfa bales.

Boarders stable their horses here, in the European-style shed rows. Painted white with red trim (a joke on the part o the management), they are as clean as you can get with dirt floors. At one end of each building, there are rings for tying up horses and a hose. At the other end, there is a tack room, with the stall directly next to it a feed room, of sorts.

A small, 20x15 aluminum rail arena was constructed about ten years ago after the old wooden one collapsed.

There was a small amount of money left over from the arena, so the management had this 10x10 round pen installed. Since then, a small oak tree has taken up root next to it.

A giant stack of hay bales, covered with tarp, sits in the shade, near the barn. At night, in the summer, people tend to congregate here.

Behind the shed rows, there are three dirt paddocks that horses may spend a few hours in, nibbling at the sparse grass or relaxing in the shade.

This is where freshly captured Mustangs are sent. Those who do not sell at auction are released.

The main office is a stone cottage, sitting next to the gate. There's usually someone at the front desk, and most of the boarders here stop by on their way in to sip expensive bottled water, exchange tart comments about the stock market or the weather and then go on their way.

The lounge is a river rock Craftsmen-style bungalow near the show ring, with a full kitchen, wood floors, leather couches, and a chocking air of stale pomposity.

Like the other barns, the main barn is large and white, with wood isles and 20, 18 by 18 box stalls, each with a little grassy paddock, and a tack and feed room at both ends of the barn. The only difference is, this barn houses the owner's horses, and is therefore extra pompous.

3 carbon copies of the main barn, the boarder barns sit in a square "U" shape behind their flagship like an alien platoon. The square that they make has been landscaped with palm trees, bland, white flowers, and a few wash racks as well.

Keatings has a total 8 rings and pens, located near the boarder barns.

Keatings has nearly 50 acres of pastureland, all grassy and bordered with nice, clean white fences. Some pastures have a run-in shelter, making it possible to leave your horse in the pasture overnight.
